The Grant Park Music Festival’s 90th anniversary season offers a blazing lineup of monumental works including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Rachmaninov’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 8.

 Also, Star Wars and More: The Music of John Williams, a Broadway tribute, an Independence Day Salute and a concert featuring the music of George Gershwin and friends. Renowned soloists headline the summer season, including virtuoso violinist Christian Tetzlaff, cellist Johannes Moser, and pianist Garrick Ohlsson.

All concerts will take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. (Exceptions include a Thursday concert on July 4 instead of a Saturday evening concert on July 6).
